Therban® ART 3462

Compound is a masterbatch of Therban® 3467 with zinc diacrylate monomers, proprietary viscosity modifiers and scorch retardants. The rubber hydrocarbon content is approximately 50% and the zinc diacrylate content is approximately 39.1%. Peroxide curing systems are recommended if an optimum balance of compression set behavior and improved heat resistance is desired. CAUTION: Unsaturated carboxylic acid salts as compounding ingredients, whether preformed or produced in-situ, can bond to steel and clean aluminum surfaces. PTFE mold lubricants or permanent PPS/PTFE resin coatings on mold surfaces are recommended
